Komiket PH recently published the list of winners of the 3rd Komiket Awards 2018.
Komiket Awards features komiks published during 2017 and reviewed by the jury composed of Sienna Olaso (Film and TV Production), Nida Ramirez (Publishing) and Arnold Arre (Komiks and Animation).
The following are the winners for each category:
- Best Komiks - "Ultimo," by Ruvel Abril.
- Best Student Komiks - "Palaso" by Marian Hukom.
- Best Writer - Ruvel Abril "Ultimo," and Lizette Daluz "Talumpati."
- Best Illustrator - Ruvel Abril "Ultimo," and Issel De Leon "Daloy."
- Geiser Maclang Alamat Award Winner - Ma-i Entico for "Emla and Bugan," and "My Name is Agung."
Winners were announced during Komiket held last February 24-25, 2018 at the Eton Elements Centris in Quezon City.
Nominees also received a special Komiket Awards Nominee badge which they can put at the cover of their komiks.
